Ubisoft has confirmed Eurogamer that Rayman Raving Rabbids will be appearing on multiple formats by the end of the year, despite claims to the contrary by our old friend Internet Reports.

Rumours have been flying that the limbless French wonder's latest adventure will be exclusive to Nintendo Wii until May next year - but that's not the case, according to a Ubi spokesperson, who told us that it "Rayman Raving Rabbids will not be exclusive to the Wii until May next year".

Apparently, the game "will be released on old and new formats before the end of 2006, with dates to be announced soon". So, that’s cleared that up then.

Rayman Raving Rabbids is being developed under the watchful eye of Michel Ancel, Ubisoft’s jewel in the development crown, who hasn’t worked on the franchise since Rayman 2 for the Nintendo 64.

Just to reiterate, the game is due out before the end of the year on DS, PS2, GBA, PC, Xbox 360... And Nintendo Wii.
