I think sony have got something big on their hands now every psp except 2.8 is able to get on 1.5 they better release that emu and a new update + now the downgrader is done the people doing the ps1 emu can concentrate on that

EDIT: this downgrader means people can play homebrew on those limited edition PSPs since theyll probably come with 2.71 that white PSP with the black designs looked awesome.

They only have jap and usa versions of 2.71, would they work? And would it affect the downgrader?

Edit: Forget downgrading.. an ELoader for 2.80 would help all the 2.80 people.

This downgrader isn't much of a success... *sigh* guess I'll wait for the loader, which will hopefully come out this month.

even as i glance over at my quiet bricked psp, i still think that the success-failure ratio is is pretty good for a new exploit of this magnitude.
but ur def right about waiting. patience is key.

the downgrader.. and also.. if depones right ( did u use
the psp 1.5 dump on psphacks? ) then ive just downloaded that.. ive also downloaded the *downdater271* file so now.. im kinda just waiting on u guys.. please tell me where to put all meh files.. ive just formated meh psp mem stick thru the psp

i got my files from psphacks too.
it's a 50/50 gamble!

lol.. read that and as far i understand.. all i have to do is make a folder in my MSROOT called DOWNDATER and place the 2 folders *flash0* and *flash1* in it.. and then also place the tiff image into my photo folder..

is this right?

also even though i read it.. the english does seem a lil sketchy... so id rather not make any mistakes and well u know.. brick..

please just tell me if what i think theyre telling me to do is right?

after you extract the file there is goin to be a folder called MS_ROOT go into the folder then "select all" the just drag that over to the root file of your psp replace anything it asks then go normaly like you are going to open a picture and your psp will freeze or goto the red screen if it goes to the red screen just wait if it just freezes manually restart and try agian continue that till it works.

am i the only succsess story i wanna know if i can format my mem stick now,...
