2.71 Downdater by Dark_AleX/Mathieulh/Yoshi

I installed it and it worked fine, but then I tried to cop > paste the 'Ultimate Emulator package' from another thread and now NONE of my emus work. Devhook disappeared as well. What am I doing wrong?

Also after I do the downgrade, do I take the hack off my memory card?

Just go for the generic downgrader as it doesn't require any dumped firmware files and it formats the flash so you get a clean install.All you need is the 1.5 eboot which is widely available.I've used it and it works great.

I've down everything right. The screen goes red and resets. When I check what firmware version I have it says 2.71 still. Obviously I'm doing something wrong...

You just have to try again as the downgrader is based on the unstable TIFF exploit. If the screen did go red but you didn't land up with a brick, you probably just got lucky.

msdarks06 - u need sum1 with a 1.50 psp to run a program 2 dump there firmware, then they send u the firmware and wala!!

Have a PSP with 2.71 factory installed and have a IC6001 board. Can this be safely downgraded to 1.5 with Downgrader2.71FULL. Can't afford a brick.....

In the instructions it says:

2) Wait someone with 1.50 to pass you a folder called DOWNDATER and copy it to the root of your memstick.

I don't know anybody with a 1.5 PSP, so could somebody PM me the folder?

I really want to downgrade, but I'm stuck here
