also for the successful one's that downgraded, ur probably gunna gave to update to 2.0 and use the MPH 2.0>1.5 downgrader to get a clean 1.5 fw...that's how it was for the 2.5/2.6 downgrader and is probably the same with this one

lol i skipped the upgrade once again then downgrade back adn mine worked perfectly (with the 2.6 downgrader.) only thing i did was restore to factory settings once during that time.

lol my theorys out the water now... pretty much dead... im still sorry ur psp is now in psp heaven. try this... goto walmart with ur psp adn say you got it on ur bday but the reciept was lost. so you want to exchange it for another one... walmart usually falls for things like that... if ur a good actor then ittl be better for u(lil kids... dont try this on the regular lol )
