most like yes, you should have had it fully charged
out of the box it was 1.57 or something, did it brick because my battery was under 50% during the downgrade?Originally Posted by hksrb25s14

PSP folder
MP_ROOT folder
DOWNDATER folder
d.bin file
MEMSTICK.IND file
all in the root of my memory stick
I've also got the hw.tif file in my PSP/PHOTO folder
http://www.ps2nfo.com is where i obtained my files from
and your psp is a 2.71
it should be working then
also, did you format your memory stick before you put all your files in, and also make sure you don't have any other files besides the ones needed to downgrade
Yes, its a 2.71Originally Posted by motoko250
I did format my memory stick before i put the files in. Infact, ive removed the files and formatted again in hope that it would work the second time around.
I do not have any other files on my mem stick.
the onlything I did was DL'ed the files from psp-hack
the just click and pasted, that's it!!! I also made sure that all the psp's were 100% fully charged and that the AC was plug in, and the Wfi off. I also waited 5-7 sec to turn the psp back on right after the red display.
