mine bricked, im taking it back to the ****ing store.

people should take their psp's back if they have the receipt. Its free and you get a new psp. Im not going to buy another psp, i am just going to return mine and get a free new one.

you cant just return a psp to the store of purchase unless you recieved it in a non working order or if it has a fault - from which before it was purchased...

...they wont exchange items that have nothing wrong with them (well yours is bricked), or if you have done something to them to make them stop working (which you did). people who work in games stores etc are'nt as dumb as you would like to think... they know all about whats going on within the underworld of the psp!

if your psp is bricked... im sorry to say but it's down to your own hard luck, like everyone else you knew the risk before you attempted to downgrade...

I have a stupid question if my psp is orginaly 2.5 but I don't have TA-082 can i downgreade?

as long as you have the receipt they will replace something thats ****ed if you lie. Ive done it plenty of times before and it is from a supermarket not a games shop. My ipod nano was smashed up and i never had a receipt but i still got a refund. Im not sure if its the same for america however.

You can upgrade to 2.71 (Get the files from http://www.psp-hacks.com) and then downgrade. Or if you have GTA you can downgrade from 2.5.

I dont have any1 with a 1.50 around me but I do have the 1.50 dumps, can I still do it and how?

1) Copy the folders downhelper and downhelper% from the folder 1.50 HELPER folder to
/PSP/GAME/ in your memstick.

2) Obtain the 1.50 updater and put it in /PSP/GAME/UPDATE in your memstick.

3) Init the downhelper program.
It will dump your flash and some files from the updater eboot to the memstick.

4) After that, the program will exit. You can now delete the updater from /PSP/GAME/UPDATE

5) You'll notice that you have a new folder in the root of your memstick called "DOWNDATER".
That's the folder you'll have to send to a 2.71 to let him use the downdater.
