well dude i can almost guarentee(99.9%) if u follow the README exactly u won't brick, since it's only the newer psp's that have the TA-082 mobo

My psp I have now has both IC codes by where UMDs go. Do you know what the codes mean on the sticker on the psp (not on the box)?

by readme do you mean just the full version download as that guides you through it or is there a read me somewhere else

IC3001 is on the right side, other one is one the left side when the back of my psp is facing me
