Lol Dude! U Got Msn, I Can Help You!
Hi, guys!
I'm new to this 'Downgrading' thing. But I'm trying the downgrader now...
Problem is, the red screen doesn't appear!! I tried restarting the thing for a couple of times, didn't appear! It's just stops, and then the power got turned off....what's happening? Do I bricked my PSP?
Can someone help me? Thanks anyway!!

um I have 2.71 and i did the full version downdater and when i click the phot file it just froze and i cant turn it off...what do i do , some1 please help it will be much appreciated
I just had this problem too. I was using a 2gb sandisk memstick.
I was able to get around it by reseting the psp to factory defaults, reformating the memstick, and using the tiny 32mb Sony Memstick that came in my "value pack" (i know a rip off, but its the only way i could find a non ta-082 mobo).
I think a 2gb memstick is too big, and you need to use a smaller one. Just a guess, i really have no clue.. but i'm at 1.5 now.. and its tight.
Maybe this was covered in the 40+ pages of this thread, but i hope it helps someone out.
Alright, I'm downloaded the exe (the downgrader) and I tried to install it. But every time i try, it says "coudln't extract "apotp.dic"". Well, it may be a newb-question but if you got the answer, sing me a song.
