Man I am so tempted to not be patient! I ordered GTA online and was going to downgrade my 2.6 by that, now there is this..... so is this the the version with the bug fix? What is the bug anyway?

Thanks for the link. I already have a 1.50 but I just grabbed a 2.71 update so that I can upgrade then downgrade friends & family PSP's.

yea remeber that feeling i was on the first downgrader possible it was beautiful it brought tears to my eyes lol ohh yes went from 1.51 to 2.0 just to go back down 1.5 and thats when my psp took away my life for a while lol...

Basically, now that this bug is fixed, the likelyhood of bricking your PSP is very slim. Especially if you take all the precautions suggested and make sure you follow all instructions.

So the version I downloaded at the start of this thread is the fixed version? can someone verify that to me just to make me feel better? Also where do I put the update file to run it on my PSP to go to 2.71. Has anyone that is online right now used this exact updater and had success?
