also, do not leave a UMD in the psp
reformatting memory stick, dark did you have a umd in when you did it? because mine went straight to the umd, I wonder if that was part of the problem?

If this friend did not have a warrantee I would have had to fork out the money to buy him a new one!
We were all noobz once. Let's make sure they do not make this mistake!
This play by play is really making me nervous. I just hope it ends well. Oh, and if you use the light version what are the files you hve to provide?
he hasn't downgraded yet razorak
@ dweez, dude it's in the freaking front page of the offical downgrader thread
-edit-
very good idea, at this point I am still trying to get to 1.5 so... Right now I am installing the files onto my psp again with the full downdater. Did this take a while for you guys to do? and how long should the red screen be on? it seemed like a very short amount of time last time.
i reformatted it twice...no umd...tried it again...froze once again...no red screen..rebooted....nothing....
o...srry...tot u downgraded already
I kind of wanted there to be a play by play, figured I would have liked to read one so why not let everyone into my scary experience that is downdating my psp!
