2.71 Downdater Easy Released

My psp is a ta-082 I think but I dont see any letter like K on the box and it has the numbers by the umd slot. can someone post a pic of where the letter is? I might have the code by the umd and not have a ta-082

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yessssssssssssssss.... i did it...yes i did it.... i though everything would be hard and all but no..i did it..you have no idea how happy and relieved i am.... let me tell you what happened so maybe this will help...im shaking cant even type right.... the red screen only came up after taking out the battery the first time and hard reseting it for 4 other times...but lool what i did was wait to turn it on (about 30 secs) after each restart...but that will help, i dont know... but i did it thank you all!!!

yo im new and i updated to 2.7 and now trying to downgrade it, but wen i try to do it, it just freezes at the photo bit and turns off???....

i have done it about 40 times now loading and reloading it and still nothing

tismo: try to reformat your mem stick then re download everything onto the mem stick and try it again

NO NO!!! dont downgrade!! if it is a ta-082 you run an extremely high risk of bricking your psp!
on your psp box you should see a white label that will be next to the POS BAR CODE. the white label should say UC2 in the top left corner and in the top right it should say just like this: PSP-1001 K

you don know what this means man...im playing rock and roll racing on my psp...this rocks...i love you guys....
hey tismos, if it freezes try reseting it and waiting awhiile before turning it on...just be patient man, this really works, give it time and just keep doing it.. good luck man
