    Default How do i watch mp4 on psp (simple question)

    i have tried heaps of ways to watch mp4 on my psp but when i go to the video option in my psp it says there is no video files. Can someone please tell me where i should put the mp4 files.
    BTW I have a 1.5 psp with devhook.

    ok...i had the same problem as you but i fixed it by using pspvideo9 to convert any file format, including mp4s to mp4s. i know it sounds stupid but after that it'll work cos it also renames the file appropriately

    all you have to do is change the name to something like this for example M4V20001

    Changing the name doesnt change the format. Dont tell me that worked for you is like trying to play a dvd movie by using a CD disk

    but the question was how to play mp4s on a psp, not dvds...though even with a mp4 file and a rename it didn't seem to work with me

    he said how to watch mp4's so i assumed he has them in that format, so that is all you have to do

    no problem, u've got urself a tool to convert from other formats like avi too =)
