I never had a problem all you have to do is put the left side first then the right and push in. Then to get out do the same comes out reall easy. Then again why take it out.

all depends what you want it for. Emulators for the NDS are not the greates but if you want to play your GBA or NDS roms id say 2gb

Other than that the Sandisk ones should do well enough.

That's the exact set up I have and it works perfectly.
