aaah so many good games. I like all mortal combat, all soul caliber, all super smash bros, and all streets of rage. But I would have to say that the best is super smash bros melee
Sengoku 2 Neo Geo
Regarding the definition of "beat 'em up," it appears Wikipedia uses the term only to refer to scrolling fighters. But I remember an old gaming magazine that used it for all fighting games (I haven't picked up a gaming magazine since about 1994 or 1995, so I'm perhaps a little behind the times).
Anyway, going by Wikipedia's definition, I suppose I'd spring for the original CPS-1 Final Fight. Street Fighter Alpha 2 still rules though, and I was surprised to see someone else had the same idea I did at the same time I did.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade game) it was the first 4 player arcade machine I played on. My favourite was Donatello.
the best of all time is" the warriors" ps2 killer game
street fighter 3 third strike by far....
My personal favorites, in equal balance:
-Double Dragon Advance (GBA)
-Battle Circuit (CPS2)
-Final Fight I (arcade) & III (snes)...never really liked II.
-TMNT Turtles in Time or Hyperstone Heist (EITHER ONE)
-THE SIMPSONS (ARCADE)
-X-Men (Arcade)
-Knights of the Round
-Golden Axe
-Any worthy Beats of Rage Mod
"Fighters" is a completely diferent genre to me, since it mainly involves 2 player VS. battling...thus is the reason I haven't mentioned any on this list, but my favorite Fighters are:
- Tekken (any game)
- Marvel VS. Capcom 1 & 2
- Street Fighter II & Alpha (any game)
- Street Fighter III-Fight for the Future
- Mortal Kombat II
- Smash Bros. (any game)
- SoulCalibur II (GC...Gotta have Link!)
of all the things to bump, this trash?
