Ds lite + Fm transmitter

I currently have a supercard and I like to listen to mp3's on it. Recently i realized I can buy an fm transmitter and listen to mp3's on my car stereo, but the headphone out jack on the DS lite seems to look just like an iPods. Has anyone tested an iPod transmitter with a DS? Would this work?

I don't mean the universal fm transmitters that work with all devices with an audio out, i mean ones like this:

or maybe it doesnt fit at all. Can someone try this or let me know if its possible?

Hmm. I doubt it will work but its worth a try. Just don't cram it in.
