psp Complete Easy PSP Homebrew Signer released

    News/release from fkrone

Today I want to present you my PSP Homebrew Easy Signer. Maybe you're wondering about what it exactely is. It is just a PC tool whichs unpacks, patches, signs and repacks the EBOOT. And all in one .exe .
    How to run it?
Just put the EBOOT.PBP in the same folder as the .exe . Then run the .exe and you will have a signed PSP homebrew.

The signer doesn't work on anything needing kernal access, which happens to be pretty much all of the current emulators.

Same goes for static elf format eboots as well.

fwiw don't bother signing the prometheus iso loader either.

and so long as we have signed HENs/(L)CFWs/etc, as well as POPS being cracked, why bother with application signing in the first place?

EDIT: Speaking of kernel access, how is it HEN/(L)CFWs/downgraders/etc can still be signed and work, despite needing kernel access and take advantage of exploits yet a simple emulator or ISO loader can't be signed?

Probably because emulators assume the exploits are already exploited, and thus don't bother exploiting them themselves?

Really, there's not much need for an emulator to be digging down to Kernal anyway. Even a Saturn Emulator seems to be able to work well enough in User mode.
