Ps2 Racing Seat Help

Hi

I recently bought a racing seat plus pedals and steering wheel but the adapter is for the original ps2 controller connecter and im wondering if i buy an adapter ps2 - usb if it would work.

Sony does not make an adapter as far as I know, which means all of the adapters are third party adapters and they all have problems. Theoretically though it should still work, if it doesn't work you should have time to return them all at least.
