dont worry about up/downgrading its not neccesary
but you will now need Devhook to play 2.0+ umds

I personally prefer this app, because it installs everything for you, including the firmware files, very noob friendly!

Really, I don't know why people say a 1.5 downgraded from 2.6 or 2.71 or whatever would work bad or anything.

Mine was downgraded from 2.6 to 1.5 with the old one, via GTA and eLoader, and no problems whatsoever until now.
