I have made this like sony would on there site, I am sorry to dissapoint you all but this is not real it is what I would personally would like to see in the 3.00 firmware
Update features (ver 3.00)
An update to the PSP system software was made available on 5th October 2006. With this update, the system software is version 3.00. Features updated in system software 3.00
include:
Network
$ A new application, an E-mail client - (Sony mail) has been added.
$ Network support has been added
$ Shockwave is now suported
$ Java is now supported
$ Flash has been updated to flash player version 8
$ A new application messenger – (Sony messenger) has been added
Game
• A new side folder has been added called Applications
• The Game folder has been renamed to Updates
• A PSOne emulator has been added under Applications
• A Notepad application has been added under the Applications folder
• A Paint application has been added under the Applications folder
• An Organizer application has been added under the Applications folder
• An Alarm application has been added under the Applications folder
• A Lua player application has been added under the Applications folder
• A send and recive option has been added under the save data folder
Video
$ A rename files option has been added in the side menu
$ WMV is now a supported video format
Music
$ A rename files option has been added in the side menu
Photo
$ A rename files option has been added in the side menu
Settings
$ A password protect feature has been added under (security settings).
$ An animated screen saver option has been added.
$ An animated wallpaper option has been added
$ A new menu has been added – UMD
$ An auto run UMD on startup option has been added under the UMD menu
$ A choose your own font option has been added under the theme menu
$ A choose your own Gameboot option has been added under the theme menu
Other
• All memory cards up to 8MB are now supported
• The GAME folder in the memory stick has been change to an UPDATE folder
• A new folder called LUA PLAYER has been added in the PSP folder in the memory stick
• A new folder called SAVES has been added in the PSP folder in the memory stick for the applications
• In the System folder 2 new folders have been added 1 of them a folder called FONTS and another for GAMEBOOTS
Note
$ This system software update includes all features contained in previous update versions.
$ The new system software will preserve any settings previously made to the PSP (such as the parental control level.
$ Do not use data other than official update data acquired through our company=s server.
$ Depending on the software title, you may not be able to play without first updating the PSP system software.
$ All fonts, custom Game boots, PSOne emulator games and animated wallpapers and screen savers can be downloaded from www.yourpsp.com

hah 8MB card limit nope im afraid that aint a nice feature and why rename the games folder to update......thats a lil bit rubbish and i think avi support should have been added and divx if you wer making up a firmware

Not necessarily, it depends on what they were made with. If they were created using the leaked Development Tools, then yes they are illegal. But if they where just made from Open Source tools, then they are legal.Originally Posted by PlagueMusic
