Yes, you're right, pspuae is nice but it can be seriously improved (interface, and speed) ... I will may be port/develop my own version, using the 68k CPU emulator stuff from TI-92 ...
    here is my blog !

Matthew Smith had almost zero colour clash in Spectrum Manic Miner! - as if you didnt know! The SAM version is a very accurate port just with full colour and two sets of twenty extra levels!

    of course

that thing uses a 68k core?? you've gotta be kidding me??!

would you allow pspuae devs to look at using that core instead of the current one?

i'll confess i'm not exactly pleased you'd want to "go it alone" - esp. when there is already much happening in the pspuae development, and just as some interesting things are starting to be done with the emualtor... i do think your talents and experience would add much to the development of any amiga emulator.

curiously, would you look at e-uae or uae4all? pspuae is based on e-uae, and Ric did port uae4all, but apparently with no improvements when running on the psp.

sorry to go wildly off-topic, Mr Nick, if you could send me a "Sam Starter Pack" it'd be much appriciated!

All those source code are GNU, so everybody is welcome to improve it and release the new code ...

have you tweaked yours in any way?

i'd be really grateful if you'd pop over to www.pspuae.com forum and have a chat with some of the guys (ric, FOL, MrModem) about the matter. imho it's good to have open and honest discussion about psp emulators, since everyone is looking for the same gain in the long run... it's not an ideal situation me acting as a go-between!

I've spent two nights on it to fix a bug (that gave computation errors on the ti92 ).
But UAE uses a more recent version, so may be the bug have been fixed on their source code ...

i forgot to say... this i know well-enough thanks! by "that thing" i meant the TI ... i mean, the 68k is a beautiful beast, and somewhat elaborate for a calculator!

of course, just hoping that the knowledge can be shared where possible, to help keep things ticking along nicely. i realise that maybe devising a whole new psp amiga emu (if thats what you really plan to do then i dont envy the task!) would be a lot to take on on-top of all your other emualtors you have in development. Emualting the best computer ever-devised on a humble PSP is never going to be a easy !

Mailed Simon Owen (the creator of SIMcoupe) about implimenting a save feature and he said:
