Im thinking of downgrading my 2.71 to 1.5 but...

... im worried i'll brick it

. does anyone have any tips for making sure i dont brick my psp?

ive done it b4 with a pocket pc

and i sure as hell dont want that to happen again.

if u could also say if u have brick by downgrading or not id be gratefull
if u have a custom firmware recommedation as well can u tell me

The 2.71 is safe. Only TA-082 motherboard PSPs can't downgrade, but otherwise it'll work.

After doing the downgrade, it is recommended upgrading to 2.0 then back to 1.5 to remove the bugs reported by the 1.5 provided during the first downgrade.

i prefer to downgrade to 1.00 then update to 1.5

Have waited for ages to downgrade from 2.01 to 1.5
always worried with the what if??
Upgraded to 2.71 then used "Downgrader2.71FULL"
working 1.5 in less than ten minutes at first attempt.
I say go ahead
Going to get homebrew now and enjoy what others have had for ages

Tried to put homebrew on but the usb is not working (USB Device Not Recognized) comes up so i cant install
homebrew etc any ideas tried switchinh of and on both computer and psp
