So what can you use on it? Are their emulators out for it?

Well you can use eLoader and hopefully the porter eLoader gets full kernal support.
But what would the eloader do? Can I still run emulators?
if you have 2.6 or under, you can use eloader to play most homebrew, but not the really really sweet homebrew.
2.71 and up you are screwed ATM until they make an eloader....however search for these "TIFF Exploit" games, like TIFF Snake, TIFF penguin, etc....they work for 2.71 - 2.80 (not 2.81).
there is someone who has successfully downgraded a ta-082 but it is a tedious 45 minute process, and so far it is very limited in what is downgradable, and it hasnt been released yet....look on 0okm's blog
cheers!
and yes, you can use SOME emulators. with eloader of course![]()
use eloader 0.9.8
and this compatibility list : http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=34798
I use to have a ta-082 myself and i hade a few emulators working, but only with the gta eloader. I hade gpsp,Daedalus, and some gamaboy color one i forget it was like homers rin. I recomend to sell you're psp on ebay and buy a 1.50 or non ta-082 that is what i did.
Yeah use the eloader. I have a TA-008 and I'm satisfied with the results. Gameboy, Nes, Snes, and Genesis games work great. And there's other neat homebrew out there that works. There's not even that much to die for homebrew that does require full kernal acess or the 1.5 firmware psp.
If I put something on that won't work is it gonna brick?
Only if it's a downgrader or something that tries to write to the flash memory.
