psp 1.5 error message

hello please can you help me here-i recently got a psp 2.5(ive upgraded to 2.71 then downgraded to 1.5) everything works fine however when i switch on my psp i get a message saying 'you must upgrade before you can continue-which means i cannot play actual games from the umd or watch movies i presume?i have installed fastloader & devhook-is there anyway to get rid of this message and is it fastloader/devhook related-its kinda buggin me

just use devhook, install everything where it needs to go on ur MS, pop a UMD in and use these settings...

UMD select: UMD Disc
Firmware: 2.71
CPU clock: 222mhz(the switch it to 333mhz in the 2.71 XMB)
Boot select: reboot XMB
Flash rom: DON'T TOUCH THIS, IT FLASHES YOUR PSP

then select start at the top and ur UMD will play
