I would like a bba for my dreamcast (Just got it last week from ebay and I am already addicted) but there is no way I am going to shell out the cash for an accessory that cost at least 4 times more than I paid for my system. But if someone could develop an alternative concept and sold it for around $25 I would buy one.
a homebrew bba is not going to happen realistcally, the biggest problem is the firmware and custom chip in it (i think)

God dam it
i dont know if this is true , but i think i once heard of a way you could run you bb though your computer and put the signal out as dial-up. which would make your computer a bba
That was only if you had the DC dialup modem and a broadband enabled pc. You still only got the dialup transfer speeds, useful for only playing online games and nothing more.Originally Posted by abeisgreat

yes but you still get good speeds, as with dailup you never get the full speed of the modem, but with it connected to BB via a pc you are maxing out the 56k (or 33k) modem, so alot better than the old dailup
i wish i had a HIT-0401 instead of the HIT-0300
