Silly question but why are you trying to emulate firmware lower than 2.71? This firmware contains all the stuff the lower firmware has, plus more. I can't think of any reason that you need to emulate say 2.60 firmware when you can emulate 2.71.

just put the folder(s) in the GAME folder
ex. for the eloader: Daedalus(put in the GAME folder) then run the eloader(and no u don't need GTA anymore) and select Daedalus

for 1.5 homebrew u need 2 folders: Daedalus(roms go in the roms folder with the EBOOT in this folder) and Daedalus%(both go in the GAME folder) then from the XMB(PSP's main screen) go to GAME then down to Memory Stick and select ur homebrew/emu/app
