You keep a PSP at work. now that's cool!. I wouldn't dream of keeping one at my office. Too many people in and out when I'm not there.

so now when everything is installed i run the devhook then in its menu click on ''START'' or ''UMD SELECT'' or anything else?
and DEJKIRKBY that is already (if i'm right) in installation (in the menu where i can run devhook., in the line abbove--> it says ''return to 1.50 from FW2.xx'')
no need to install manually thx for reminding me anyway

JohnI when all your setting are correct you click on START. And trust me you do need to install the Return to 1.50 from the Ultimate Installer. Once you press START you cannot return to the DevHook menu without either hard resetting or using the part of the program mentioned.

Seriously, if you haven't loaded the Return from 1.50 from the ultimate Installer you haven't got it on your psp Trust me. When you have loaded DevHook and it looks like it has reset just check the FW. What does it say.

On the DevHook top menu The settings i have are:
    TARGET: (reboot XMB)
    UMD-FILE:
    UMD-MODE: UMD Disc, Ver. 2.xx to 2.00
    FW Path: ms):/dh/271(MS HOOK)
    CLOCK: 333/166

I then press circle and my psp reboots to DevHook.

aha i had different CLOCK settings. I've tried on 222/111 but it happend what i said earlier (psp shuts down)

why do i have to have it on 333/111 to work? cause now it's working and that ''returner'' also do his job thx dejkirkby.

i have also another question. When i emulate (with devhook) firmware to 2.71 can i change any settings in there (in 2.71) i mean my name, theme etc

You can change your name. But to change your theme You copy the dh/271 folder to your computer and alter the one on your psp with ThemePSP. The good thing is that DevHook doesn't write to flash so if it messes up. You can just copy the file back from your computer.
