There is 76 freeware remakes in competition.

Anyone try any of these games yet? Â*I need to check these out when i find some time because some of these remakes look a bit impressive.

EDIT: Wow, I just tried Football Manager. If you guys are into remakes, check out these entries. Most of the games aren't that large and they contain vibrant (and interesting) art for old concepts.

I downloaded about 7 of them, and there all Win32 games.

I downloaded a few too, look pretty neat. Maybe i'm wrong but it'd be cool to see a few of these on the DC in the future.

Are there any jungle strike style games? we need one of those!

Nothing like Jungle Strike, these games are more like your classic Amiga or Commodore 64 remakes

There's a fantastic remake of Zaxxon in there, too. I saw a post about the Zaxxon remake over at Gamikaze, and tried it out. It's awesome.
