This is very nice. More hope for those unwilling to downgrade in fear of shiny bricks. Any hope fo TA-082 users?

this will be fully compatable w/ ta-082 users, just downgrading will be prohibited of course

Great! I have a friend that just got a PSP, it's a 2.71 TA-082 motherboard. I told him not to update, in case something like this came out. He is going to be very happy!!!

Nah, good on him, it's exciting work.

As it happens he got this working on 2.71 at about the same time we got something similar working on 2.60 (but via a different method). Ours needs a lot of work before release, though, so don't hold your breath.
