If i were you i would either stick to lua or to C++.

Checkers
In reply to dski, i've started on a checkers game, i've been working on it a bit on and off, most of it works already, like move validation and taking spots. I still need to work on winning, maybe a scoring system, which I just haven't got around to doing yet but the hard part is going to be making the AI, if any one would be interested in helping me with the AI it could be released soon
