PSPlayerMT worked better, played Divx avi, now NO????

Months ago when I first installed PSPlayerMT on my 1.5 PSP I was able to play avi files fine. I watched 3 episodes of Entourage I downloaded without a hitch.

Now 99% of them lock during the pre-stage. 100% of the Divx ones. (mpg plays fine) The only difference is I set my PSP up the the HarleyG/DevHook dual boot scheme. 1.0/2.6

After that I also upgraded to a 4gb memory stick. (I will try on a 1gb stick after this post. Maybe the player or homebrew has problems accessing over 1gb stick)

I even tried removing custom firmware and downgrading back to a clean 1.5. No luck my "1.5 PSP" still has problems with 99% avis.

my only suggestion would be find another divx player for the psp, tho i didnt know even this one existed, i wouldnt know what other ones exist....if u find something pls keep me in the loop.

you could try the PMP (psp media player)v0.6 . I think that was the name

I have HarleyG's 0.2 cfw & a 4GB ms myself. I just thought PSPlayerMT performed terribly. I wonder what the problem is?

works great for me with harleyg custom fw. I have the mt version which was the last version

its ok but doesnt play some of my .rm and .avi files

It plays them for me. But they are so choppy, they are literally unwatchable.

No dude. I watched them on my PC- on VLC & Windows Media Player and they both worked fine. I wonder then, if it's a problem with the 4 GB ms. I have Sandisc, just so everybody knows. 3dron - What kind of memory stick do you own?
