Devhook Launcher Port to 2.71 - (Run V1.5 Homebrew on PSP 2.71)

As I said before in this thread, it's easier if you just find a copy of Devhook .45 with all the firmwares already in it. Try a torrent site, or google.

i have dark_alex modded 1.50....but for some reason i cant devhook 1.50, even tho i got the dump....psp just crashes. tried w/ dh .45 and .46

any ideas? i got reboot.bin n everything....

from 2.71, run the homebrew enabler program....the first time u run it, ull get a red or a green screen....u must run this program until you get a green screen.....after that, future times you will always get a blue screen, so no worries.

after that runs, the xmb will reset....download and run devhook for 2.71....if u want the full release w/ the d*m* of 1.5 just pm...*coughs* and then voila. done.

Yes I have confirmed ALL of this 3 or 4 times now.

YES everything you're asking about runs on a TA-082 once you get it set up.

As far as a guide - simple - download the HENB, and the Devhook launcher from Dark_Alex's site. I posted it here already. Then find a copy of Devhook .45 with the firmwares. There are other sites that have it. We can't tell you where to get that specifically on this site, but it's not that hard people.

Once you get all that stuff, follow the instructions, and install it.

then run it.

Enjoy.

Idea....2.71 users could technically update to 2.0 when in 1.5 firmware?

Good idea, but with the PSP flash still having 2.71 that would be a MASSIVE risk, wouldn't it?

Thanks man. Anyhow i found the problem was henb wasnt loading while any umd was in drive secondly after running devhook and selecting the game file i wanted to play i wasnt pressing home (hold) button and than press L or R . so i wasnt geting to emulation menu. And note that after the menu insert any umd and play any game. and u can insert anyumd . Now my TA082 plays everything and that includes what we cannot mention here .

Yeah, I've noticed this too.

The HENb rev. 2 doesn't like to run when there's a UMD in the drive. Don't understand why, but it's more often successful when the drive is empty.
