I'm using Magic ISO myself, of course I originally had it as a MDF file for Alcohol. I just loaded it into my emulated CD-ROM drive and I'm having Magic ISO rip it again, this time as a BINOriginally Posted by S34MU5

Soul Edge doesnt work, it just freezes at the game selection menu. I am going to try twisted metal 1 next, then maybe final fantasy tactics.

You shouldn't be loading the BIOS as a ROM. It's job is to hang out in the BIOS folder, and answer calls made to it by the game ROMs. I don't know if any of you have used the excellent GBA emulator gpSP, but the same idea is used there.
As for those of you asking how to backup your games, Google knows all. IIRC, the author stated that the emulator will load .iso and .bin formatted ROMs. If you ask Google how to backup your legally owned games, I'm sure it will tell you what you need to know.
As for myself, I'm fixing to give this thing a whirl. Honestly, this functionality is half the reason I bought a PSP in the first place. Mind you, I was expecting Sony to implement it--until I did some post-purchase research, I had *no* idea what a thriving homebrew scene this machine had.
Big ups!
chrono cross and ff6 don't work... damn i was hoping... still it might be better just to wait for the next release hopefully it will have the dynarec recompiler...
I downloaded ISO Producer. And my PSX game (CD) is the computer. Now what do I do?Originally Posted by kcajblue
