well rather ookm than me, can you imagine how hard its gonna be for him when he finally releases this, if he cant make a exe that makes the .... nand image thing??? .... thats 45 mins for everyone that wants to downgrade, and everyones gonna want to be the first one to degrade using softdown

But on your first post is says that it has to be an original 2.50, and if it is, then you can update. Razorak has an original 2.60 so it wont work for him

*bleep* *bleep* *bleep* *bleep* DAMNIT! Haha well thanks for the info. I thought you meant that 2.6 could before. But still....damnit. I'm sortof afraid to do the reverse firmware thing for a couple of reasons. 1) Its unstable
2) I'm not exactly sure how to install it. I have an idea but I always screw up on these kind of things.
3) I don't know if I wan't to upgrade to 2.71 just incase a 2.6 downgrader will come in the future.

A TA-082 motherboard downgrader will come. Ookm successfully downgraded (software) one.

Sorry fellas but i need some help in undertanding certain things...I had a Psp with all of the emulators and games i wanted, then the screen broke so i had to go Best Buy and get a replacement, I got back a 2.5 so i couldnt do anything with it. Now i found out theres a downgrader for 2.5 and so on but when i open the tutorial it says not to doit cuz of the "number" my psp has which is 1c1003. Is this the 082 thing you guys are talking about? If so does this mean i have to wait for this update or is there any other way to downgraded it. Thanks and sorry for the long post

You have a TA-082, but help is at hand! You can use a knda Reverse Devhook to emulate 1.5 firmware. Search the forums and everything you need is on there apart from the 1.5 firmware DUMP which you can get from PSP-Hacks.com
