Maybe because one means the original name for the Playstation (PSX) but for the PSP hence psxp. And the other is ps1p obviously becuase the Playstation is known more commonly now as (PS1) and the fact that its on PSP!

I just want to play Castle Vania Syphony of the Night. But I guess we are going to have to wait till this emulator reaches a higher part of emulation. And the dyranec engine is built in. Because an emulator such as PS1 purley running off an interpreter alone is just foolish. =[

This is such great news. Just sweet. Hopefully now Yoshihiro will pick up his act in an attempt to compete with this awesome coder. Competing ps1 emulators is what I have dreamed about for a long time. And the fact that neither of them is made by Sony is awesome. Screw firmware updates, I still love Sony though because of their hardware.

I really can't wait for this emu as from the looks of it it seems very promising... Oh and the idiot zeus stole this news and posted it on his totally rumored site.... Lol .. Thats ok i let everyone over there know where it really originated... You should see how he cut out all the dcemu watermarks... Lol what an ASS.... Hey wraggster you tried...

It looks very nice (the emulater) and after the dissapointment of the PSX_P. I hope everyone will be able to enjoy this promissing emulator.
