Mushue has released a new Homebrew Book Reader for 2.80 firmware:
Heres how to install
Extract file to the root dir of your Memory Stick
Go to the Photo XMB menu
Select BookRU folder and press the start button.
Download and Give Feedback Via Comments

It only works every once in a while and when it does it loads straight after I click Photos.
I can't play any other homebrew games because of it...
Don't ask me if I'm sure I did it right because I've installed all the other TIFF Apps and Games alright, it's just this one.

I agree, the code for this TIFF App is messed up greatly. As trecool999 said above, the app loads as soon as you click photos. I have confirmed this on my 2.80 psp as well.

problems, when mushue has the code stablised this could be a handy thing to have just think, terry pratchett, when on the bus...
but it just crashes my psp at the moment....

As i know, the author is not going to continue his work. I read about it on Russian (www.pspx.ru) forum. He said, that can provide sources if someone wants to continue his work.
