Doom Is Live on Xbox Live Now

As you read this the original Doom, that's right the original DOOM should be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 points.

Don't freak if it isn't there when you check, Microsoft said they weren't sure if it would be up during or right after their X06 press conference today. But it will be today.

The game includes both single-player and two-to-four player co-op and deathmatch modes over Xbox Live.

The game will support teh deathmatch and coop play both on Live and in four-player split screen mode.

This is an opportunity for those who have never played doom multiplayer deathmatch or co-op. I like the idea of Xbox live and split screen, very good.

Excellent news! I wasn't aware that this was coming to Xbox live.

Went and downloaded this. Just as good as the original and the 4 player deathmatch is a lot of fun.
