ROM Connectivity with Wii

(This question does not directly relate to commercial ROMs. Its more to do with the way in which ROMs work in general)

Hello!
Does anybody know if DS ROMs used with the Supercard (Or something like it) will connect with the Wii. Obvioiusly such features have been planned for games. However if would be interesting to know if such functions would work using ROMs.
