Sony would have absolutely no legal grounds to do anything about this. I don't see why everybody thinks they would. The only way they could even be close to would be if it was released as a commercial product.

In all seriousness, I am a little inpationt bc W keeps saying soon. Instead he should have used maybe.... When you think of soon you think a few hours, a day, week at most. But this has been soon for so long its getting to the point where people think it will not come out. Im just saying if you got a beta that runs like that put it out. I mean I can stand playing a game that is a little slow (like Super Mario 64 for N64, about 15-20 fps average).
Sorry for being a D!ck bc of impations, anyway I know that this will be the best thing scence sliced bread (well, bread could never play re2 and ff7,8 and 9)....

i agree, unless this contained a copyrighted file (the bios) or was gonna be sold rather than be freely distributed, then Sony would be albe to pull all their resources (face it, they would) but as it stands, sony cant do anything except make a better emu to make us want to upgrade (.....yeah, right)

I don't think it has been 1 week yet?

Also when you go watch some movie trailers it says "coming soon" and sometimes it takes months until you get the movie... It's not like the "coming soon" expression in the majority of the meanings means days, but rather weeks or months

Now, there could be the chance that A.C. is waiting to either release the emulator just 1 day before Sony's one, or maybe 1 day later to get the headlines big like "OMG sony released the official emulateur iesterd4y but a homebr3w one was launched the day after thats 2x better"

That would be fun
