I'd rather wait a while to have a decent release, rather than to have a sloppy first release because people can't stand to wait.

but if they released a beta, you don't have to download it, you can wait until there's a more "decent" release later, and download that.

    geesh guys!

You give a mouse a crumb and it wants the whole cookie....

We are in fact very lucky that someone is working hard to bring us this exclusive. If they want to stay anonymous, so what. Are they trying to sell this? I doubt it, do they seek fame and fortune from this work? Not likely. So if they want to remain anonymous, all the better. I like the "mysterious" element to these great projects. Also, with past rip-offs of work by self claimed coders and other sites, maybe the AC (anonymous coder) is also worried about that happening.

Nobody complains this much when there are Daedalus W.I.P. news and no release. Yeah, the argument can be made that Daedalus has been released and proven but it sounds like this PS1 EMU will be far more playable than Daedalus. And that is worth a longer wait if need be.

Nothing really wrong with hyping a DCEMU exclusive. Actually, strategically it benefits all. DCEMU will attract more dedicated and loyal members, and in return, the many members will be rewarded with the most reliable and trustworthy homebrew community on the NET.

We can trust Wraggster! So don't worry, there is something good just around the corner. Lets not rush it or create pressure on anyone.

Again great news! Hopefully the coder will get to a point where he feels comfortable to release a public version here soon.

Sounds great, I hope as much time on this project is took. I want the best results for the release. In case we run into problems when it comes to dealing with SONY.

This is my first post, and I agree. I know that emulating the PS1 is possible on the PSP, I'd rather he released it if and when he gets it to run games at full speed and with sound.

I can wait I'm not impatient.

    On another note, Great site.

I like the part about speed optimizations considering the fact that the gpu isnt being used and that there is no recompiler. I bet when the coder finishes those parts the speed will probably be very playable, maybe even full speed.
