Here It Is, The PS3 Remote

This I personally hadn't previously seen before. At CEATEC JAPAN 2006, Sony showed off the PLAYSTATION 3's remote control. It looks similar to the PS2 remote and guess what? It does pretty much the same thing! It's supposed to be used for toggling and video functions—in this case, watching Blu-ray discs. Looks like any old remote, no?

i hope it has a "power-off" button to shut-off the system without having to get up and push a button manually..the lesser work, the better..

Maybe Sony was going for backwards compatibility here. But whatever, its a ****ing remote, its going to be used to turn on the PS3 and watch a movie, not to play a game. Function, in this case, takes precedent over form.
