I kinda knew he would make this lol. It's what the H-Brew enablers were hinted towards. Great release, keep it up man!
Great news. Improved stability and safety is always a big +!![]()

I want to downdate my PSP with this new method, but I can't even get past installing Hen C! I must've restarted my PSP over 20 times trying to get Hen C to run for the first time. Is this constant freezing normal? Are there any tricks I should know about to lessen my chance of having it freeze in photo mode? Please help!
Update: I managed to get Hen C to install (got the green screen and reboot), but I'm stuck again. I downloaded the updater and placed the firmware (changed the file name to UPDATE.PBP) in the Update folder as instructed but my PSP won't start the program. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
I want to confirm that this downgrader IS WORKING. I upgraded my 1.50, TA-079 PSP to 2.71, mainly to test the 2.71 homebrew loader, also made by Dark Alex. While that works as well, it did not run what I wanted it to run, so I used this downgrader and it worked flawless.
I hear all the happy TA-079 1.50 owners scream at me in unision for my stupidity of upgrading to 2.71. But... It was a risk that I took willingly, and it's paid off.
Keep it up DAX
