Japanese hardware sales, 25 September - 1 October

Is this the turning point for the Xbox360 in japan, they gained nearly twice as many sales as last week.

Heres the charts:

- DS Lite: 274,389
- PS2: 31,992
- PSP: 25,319
- Xbox 360: 2,195
- GBA SP: 1,811
- Game Boy Micro: 1,103
- Gamecube: 523
- DS Phat: 253
- GBA: 10
- Xbox: 3

Doesnt anyone in Japan not have a DS Lite ?

I''m just amazed that the old PS2 is outselling the PSP. by now you'd think there'd be more PS2's in Japan than people

thats alot of ds sales >< but nintendo deserves it for bringing us countless years of portable gaming.

The DS is suddenly having a rise in sales of about 100.000.

What could be the reason? FF 3?

Thats exactly what I'd like to know. DAMN! What is the population in Japan? By not almost everyone should have a DS Lite. Selling over a quarter million in 1 week?

I say it everytime I see these numbers, but I mean it this time. I'm getting a DS Lite! That many people can't be wrong.

This causes me worry for the PSP now. It has yet to bounce back from those low numbers.
