It should work fine through the new Eloader on 2.80, this emu is definitely worth your time giving it a shot.
If you run into any troubles the readme files cant help you with, give me a PM.

Great but there is a bug that the sram save will be lost after selecting "Reset SMS" in the File menu.
My phantasy star save is lost after reset the emulator.
