Yes, I have ran it myself. It's probably best running the 1.5 version of DH though, as it is possible to launch 2.71 under emulated 2.71 should you want to under that.Originally Posted by Vibestar

It works amazingly well, and will logically format your flash. AKA, it will wipe the flash clean so that it can have enough space and that no other files mess around with the firmware. So you don't need to upgrade/downgrade or anything. All my homebrew works, (remember to put make a GAME150 folder for 1.50 homebrew). WiFi works, UMDs work.
In summary.
Sweet.
yes devhook .46 works with this, under GAME150 i believe...does this have the auto USB mode like harleyg's cfw has(or any other cfw for that matter)?Originally Posted by Vibestar
I've looked at this and I am very impressed. However, I don't quite understand the point of using this when I can just emulate the firmware I desire. I like having my 1.5 since I never had one originally and I don't think I need 2.71 that lets me do the same things that 1.5 did.
Don't get me wrong, I think Dark_Alex is a f**^in awesome guy and he rocks my world, I just don't think I really need to do this.
On the other hand, If I had a TA_082 then this would be the best thing ever.
Let me know what you guys think. If you've done this tell me the pro's and con's.
I'm stil not sure to do this. I can't fully understand how it's done. I have both the eboot's but then what exactly. Isn't there somebody who can give a quick guide.
I just cleaned up my 1.50 firmware from x-flash did a upgrade to 2.00 and back downgraded it to 1.50. So that should be save.
Yea it is possible.Originally Posted by Vibestar
The program has been extracting and packaging 2.71 firmware for a very long time..... Any comments on this?
EDIT: This has been going on for seven minuits...
Some memory sticks take longer doing that step than others, from what I've read on other message boards.
My memory stick is a genuine sony one that came with the psp.....And yes its still going on...
