You cant run official updates, dark_alex disabled it.
I think you will need to use recovery mode to be able to install updates.

This completely erases flash and then flashes files form your memstick.

Can I use my old Devhook with this and if I can, could I also just delete my old devhook and install Dark_Alex's 2.71 devhook by just deleting my old DH folder and copying the DH folder that's included? If I do that I wouldn't need to have anything dumped to memory stick, correct?

From the readme, sounds like 2.71 Devhook HEN C is already included. Thats just what I understand from reaing the readme, but its abit hard to follow.

do you have a ta-082? did you make sure you have 1.50 firmware installed before trying this? aka you werent using 2.71 hen-c?

anything else you can tell us?

can you pull up recovery mode when you hold R and turn on the psp?

I don't know what went wrong. I followed directions precisely. Now it just won't turn on. DAMMIT ALL TO HELL. I had Dark_Alex's Custom firmware installed and had everything else uninstalled from flash. WTF HAPPENED???
