i am going to upgrade when it is a little safer
Ive upgraded to my new Dark alex firmware and it is GREAT! Im thinking it might be the new "golden firmware"
Im wondering how everyone else feels about it... It seems to do everything!
Can anyone think of anything that might make it even better? It seems to be better than Harleygs custom firmware....Opinions?
i am going to upgrade when it is a little safer
1.5 is faster and more open. so still 1.50
More open? In what way?
there is 100% compatibility with everything (up to 2.71 for now)
and more experience with 1.5 means more features will appear
this new 2.71SE-A fw isn't gunna be better than a 1.5(custom) unless it is able to do more than a 1.5(custom)...until then 1.5 is still the golden fw but u never know what Dark_AleX has instore, so we'll see
It seems it can do anything that Custom firmware can do, including loading custom PRX's. There seem to be no instructions on how to do it though. However, I'm not sure if you can customise the fonts or the background like you can on a 1.5.Originally Posted by BL8Z3D247
As for me, I never used them functions anyway, so this 2.71SE is the firmware for me No more need for devhook really, as I don't use ISO's.
Besides, integrating an ISO loader is in his TO-DO list.
Cloudy
The only thing I don't like about the current 2.71 custom firmware is missing Cheat Device support. If someone could incorporate that, then I would think it's the "golden firmware".
untill its proven more safer then il upgrade too it. plus this new "gloden fireware" is still in its infancy and is new. im sure there are gonna be updates to this. il try it when im sure that its finalized. until then im sticking to my 1.5
nice new avi gunntims0103, haven't seen u here in a while what's going on? anyways i myself will wait on this(i may or may not want to seeing how i can do everything already)...and Cloudhunter i know it does what a 1.5 custom can(which is what i have) so why would i upgrade and flash my psp when i am able to do everything already
