According to the study by Los Angeles based Interpret, 8.9 million U.S consumers ‘are prepared’ to pay full price ($500 or $600) for the PlayStation 3 this fall, compared to 5.7 million consumers who are willing to buy Wii at $250 and just 800,000 people who are willing to pay full price for Xbox 360 ($300 to $400).
This research, released first to Next Generation, was derived from a sample of 2,000 interviews Interpret conducted online, weighted to 2004 Census data of 13 to 54 year-olds in the U.S. Researchers ran a parallel random digit dial telephone study as a back-up to weigh the data to what the US population looks like to ensure that the online data was not over-representing females, which often occurs with online surveys.

No, I think that the Wii will kick PS3 ass :P
i think that both the wii and ps3 will sell out quickly in the first day they are released, wii will win but thats because nintendo was smart enough to make a crap load of them available for launch![]()
true
umm too bad guys... only 400 thousand... lol![]()
i believe there are that many people willing too ps3 will probobly kick ass...
lol my gamestop is getting 16 ps3s
and only 4 wiis (number will probobly change)
4 wii's? that sucks, how'd you find out?
I know someone who works at a game stop... and she says they have been confirmed 16 ps3s (probly less) and 4 wiis (proboly more) and 2 of those are going to be taken by employees...
ouch, as long as they restock wii's before christmas, i'll be good
u people will be dissapointed by the ps3...it s 100$ too expensive. really! maybe game especially made for the hardware will be good. but ported games won t be as good as the pc or the 360 version.
the wii is just a gamecube with a little more on the cpu side...it s 1.5 time more powerfull than the original gamecube. there is no pixel shader, no shader at all actually. but the price is attractif and the pad is original.
anyway...that was my 2cents...![]()
