I just went to Gamestop and bought some rubber replacement nub from them, pack of 3 was 5 bucks and came in black white and blue. Guy showed me that the psp nub just 'clips in' place and was swappable with the packaged ones. It sticks out a lil bit but it def still fits in my sleeve and is still swappable with the original nub. But it's way more fun to play MvC this way.

I got a pack of 5 analogue sticks off ebay for $5 (au) ranging from a bit bigger than the original nub (the one I use) to a full size ps2 one.
I found the bigger I went the more it would stick

/\ /\ Why not use the add on in the "Dismatle your PSP in five minutes" video? It looks pretty tidy with the ammended casing and also gives you the option of using TV out

Like some of the others I got extra "nubs" of various sizes off ebay (free with a screen protector!) and they work great

I got a set of 3 large and 3 different texture ones with a screen protector from Gamestop for 9 usd. And since they are removable it works great.

I like that second one. Not unsimilar to an old clip on I had for a GB color system. Changing the cross pad to a stick is the way. Simply making the sliding nub a bigger sliding nub didn't work for me. Still feels awkward.

ben heck does it again, he isn't affraid to open anything up and solder to it. [:

what needs to be done is figure out a way to replace the face buttons with an analog stick. that way katamari and various fps's can use two sticks. i know there has to be a way to do this via usb. why can't sony just make something to do it. oh well.
