-Java support on the I-Net Browser
i wouldnt actually mind more combatability with other media (avi, mpeg)
Full support for homebrew and I will update.
They should add new settings menus, giving the user the ability to select the clock speed. being able to set the clock to 333 makes webrowsing quicker, and makes flash pages smoother. underclocking would also be handy for those LONG bus runs and ure listening to mp3s and u need all the battery life u can squeez
i hope they alow listening to music whyle browsing other parts of the firmware.
i also want them to fix the stoopid "not enough memory" problem in the web browser, add memory stick caching, also they could include more settings within the web browser, e.g under the "Images" option instead of On and Off, they could include low quality, i have that function on my mobile fone and it saves ram.
they could also expand on the video player, add xvid/divx/avi as playable formats. im aware that those formats are heavy loads on the cpu, but recent homebrew apps have proven that its possible to get full screen divX video running at 30fps... if a programer who isnt getting paid, and is only coding on there free time can do it... im pretty sure sony can do it.
increaasing the volume would be a pretty gd idea to :/
the picture viewer does not alow gif images to move unless ure in the web browser, they need to fix that.
and my personal "request" lol adding a new brightnes setting that is super dim, each night wen i go to bed and im playing my psp in the dark, the psp burns a square hole in my eyes, would be awsome to be able to cut the brightnes even further
Big Listlol, but it does show wat the psp is capible of as some of it has been done in modified/emulated firmware. Sony need to get there finger out there sphincter and give us the goods we paid for!! >_<
I hope sony sees thisOriginally Posted by benh
I wonder why file renaming and such wasn't added from earlier FW, I guess they are pretty careful for security bugs and exploits.
wmv playback would rock, smaller video file sizes =p
java support would bring more fun
Homebrew support for the homebrew as of today will NEVER be added. Do not blame sony, blame the ones that download illegally shared games, if that crap didn't exist homebrew would be enabled from earlier FW.Originally Posted by mnuhaily22
They should at least make a SDK for windows and add an option to run that developed soft but with limited features.
wow, people like to dream, im a resalist, and would love to have inbuilt 'lua' or 'BASIC' support under the game menu
sony will never enable cpu customisation. ever
*i want it all, i wan it all, i wan it all.... and i want it now* sings DaRn at the top of his voice.![]()
