I think it`s only when you play MP3 that it flash`s like a disco. The LED`s I think are also used when connected to the USB port for writing and reading like most usb sticks.

instead of that senseless feature (the light will not even fill a complete room) they should have add more RAM for that price

i guess theyre trying to make up for their horrible price tag.

i'd like to see a cheap slot 1 solution, possibly with removable storage.(ie sd micro)

i dont know how much DS Link is but it uses removable storage.
